About the Snells Beach Community Association

The primary objectives of the Snells Beach Community Association are to

a)         Represent and advocate for the community of Snells Beach on relevant issues within the wider Mahurangi East Peninsula:

b)         Liaise with local authorities in the design, development and maintenance of new & existing local community facilities for the benefit of the community

c)         Work with local agencies and other community groups to protect and enhance the environment

d)           Actively seek opportunities to work with or alongside other agencies and associations, groups or individuals with similar aims, in ways which will benefit the community, including financial and other assistance to community projects.

f)         Seek to grow and maintain an active membership

g)        Foster community engagement and participation in local government issues

h)           Adopt all necessary powers to undertake the work of the Society including the purchase or lease of any real or personal property
