Fishing at Snells Beach

Boats can be launched at Snells Beach, Dawsons Road, Algies Bay and Martins Bay.
The: Navigation Safety Bylaw : came into effect on 25th Oct 2014
The new bylaw sets out the rules for all craft and people using these waters to ensure their safety. From Labour weekend 2014 it is compulsory to wear a lifejacket when on board a vessel 6m or under in length, unless the skipper of that vessel gives you permission not to.
Other key changes in effect from Labour weekend include:
It is compulsory to carry a communication device
It is an offence for anyone to be in charge of a vessel who is intoxicated by alcohol or drugs
